Following his 'When I'm Gone' and 'We Watched The Sunrise Till Our Eyes Burned Out', Marcello Pacheco brings another strong EP to the masses. Aptly named 'A Million Sounds, A Thousand Smiles', it reflects the highlight moments on the dance floor, while representing a new one. This one crushes into your system, luring you into its maze. A tender break, warm synths and an outburst of energy right after, is exactly what makes this a tune beyond any you've heard before. Already featured as Tune of the week on A State of Trance episode 560 'Echoes', the B-side that doesn't sound any less than A-quality, completes the EP. Under the Pulser guise, he released 'My Religion', which turned out to be one of the biggest track of its year, 2003. It didn't only grace the decks of the DJ elite, but also made it as the official Global Gathering Tune that year, seeing thousands of EDM lovers get infected with its trancy waves.

That's when Eco's 'M(You)sic' is going to hit the storms, an entire artist album full of melodic gold. The New York based mastermind, Marcello Pacheco, already wowed the global trancers with previous releases like 'Light At The End', ' And We Flew Away', 'Tonight Is Forever' and 'Lost Angeles'. To ease the wait till April, he now presents the first official single of the album, his diverse sounding 'The Light Un Your Eyes Went Out'. Things go deep on Eco's latest production, that features his ever-refreshing sound that is typically him yet always different from his previous release. No surprise, as he finds his inspiration in ambient, progressive rock, alternative and trance. On 'The Light In Your Eyes Went Out', he combined the best of all these genres, making it fit in a multi-styled layer of a masterpiece. On the flipside, Norwegian duo Lemon & Einar K translated 'The Light In Your Eyes Went Out' into a purely uplifting piece with big synths and refined beats. Leaving some of Eco's typical sounds in there makes up for a temping combination of the best of the three producers.

In 2002 and 2003 Leon got his first record deals, together with his brother Bart. They released some tracks on Bonzai/Banshee and FTM sublabels. Back then the first contacts with Armada frontman Maykel Piron were established via Armin van Buuren, and this resulted in Leon remixing the first ever Armada release. On this 66th A State Of Trance Release Leon Bolier, under his guise Surpresa, produced two tracks, Bonaire and Poseidon. Enjoy!
