Had a trip down the memory lain last week, saw that the Misja Helsloot remix of Robert track "Recitation" was featured in ASOT episode 083, 084, 085, 086, 087, 089, 095 and the Transa remix of "My Spirit" was featured in ASOT episode 113 (with Lange as a guest DJ). Also the Robert Lidstroem remix of my Sturmkraft track "Revolution" was featured in episode 95 (Misja Helsloot as a guest DJ). With this in mind Robert and I teamed up and made a new track during X-mas holidays, the track is yet an "ID" but it will be released under the Robert Lidstroem name, watch out for this one! Download ASOT 550 in www.blog.pc-serveis.es Planet Perfecto were a dance supergroup, formed in 1997 by Paul Mark Oakenfold [born on 30 August 1963 who is an English record producer and a trance DJ.], Ian Masterson and Jake Williams. They were signed to Oakenfold's record label, Perfecto Records. Career: Their first release was "Georgie Girl" on 12" vinyl in 1997; the single did not make it into the UK Singles Chart. However, their next track, "Not Over Yet '99", was more successful entering the UK chart at #16 in August 1999. They worked with a fourth producer, Matt Darey on the track, a remix/re-edit of "Not Over Yet" by Grace to create the track, which was to be the first of four hits for the group. Oakenfold had previously been a member of Grace. Before forming Planet Perfecto, all three producers had made their names in the dance music scene under different guises. Most notably Jake Williams as JX and Masterson with Flexifinger. Paul Oakenfold was often viewed as being the main force behind "Planet Perfecto", but this is probably because he was more of a household name; being successful as a DJ and having hits under numerous guises.[5] Planet Perfecto have not released any further material since 2001. My compilation video of footage taken on April 3, 2010 at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. Produced by Armin Van Buuren, A State of Trance (ASOT) is a weekly radio show broadcasting all over the world (via air and the internet) for the past 9 years, showcasing the latest and hottest in trance music. Every 50 episodes (or about every year) they throw a mega party celebrating ASOT, sometimes spanning different days across multiple countries. In the case of ASOT 450, there were 5 different nights across 4 cities of the world: Toronto, New York, Bratislava, and Wroclaw with performances of over 30 DJs. Each event (approx. 8 hours) was broadcast live, free, over the internet for for the world to join in. Armin Van Buuren, when not performing, was backstage interacting with fans via Twitter, E-mail, and Chat, as well as interviewing DJs pre and post performance to catch some of their vibes. The final closing event in Wroclaw was also broadcast via live streaming video. You won't want to miss the mega parties when ASOT 500 hits sometime next year!
