New York, NY -- January 6, 2011 -- Rising dance music DJ/producer/vocalist Kid Alien's debut single "The Atmosphere" has been released today on Armada Music. Additionally, a new collaboration with Brazilian DJ/producer Klauss Goulart, "All My Sorrows (Rain On Me)," released 1/2 on Zouk Recordings. Kid Alien is a LessThan3 artist and is also the Editor-in-Chief of LessThan3.com. "The Atmosphere" made its first appearance in its remixed form on Armin van Buuren's latest installment of his legendary "Universal Religion" series, cementing the name of Kid Alien as one to watch in the international dance music community. Now, Armada Music, has released the original form, a dubstep-influenced banger known as the "Kid Alien & Starchild VIP Mix," as well as a radio edit. Also earlier this week, "All My Sorrows (Rain On Me)," Kid Alien's second collaboration with Klauss Goulart, was released on Armada imprint Zouk Recordings. "Rain On Me" displays a markedly more house direction for the burgeoning alien talent, and features soulful vocals without the "Kid Alien" effect present on "The Atmosphere." To date, Armin has featured the Klauss Goulart & Mark Sixma remix of "The Atmosphere" track on three episodes of his weekly "A State of Trance" radio show, one episode of his "A State of Trance" podcast, and the 2011 ASOT Yearmix. Klauss Goulart & Mark Sixma graced the remix that was released this week; the original and radio edit will be released in early January. For nearly 15 years, UK producer Nick Bracegirdle has been part of the scene, hitting high peaks with 'Offshore', 'Saltwater', 'Don't Give Up', 'Stoned In Love' and the more recent 'Poppiholla' and 'Hiding All The Stars'.
