This is a Pioneer DEH P88RS II installed in the "secret-compartment" above the glove box in a MINI R56. The components, 6x9's and tweeters are by Hertz, powered by an iPaul amp, backed with a 14" Pioneer half-sub in the boot. This sounds AMAZING! I don't know how I'll be able to cope without this sort of standard again! Author: Lonz645 Duration: 1:34

Armin van Buuren, having his breakthrough with 'Blue Fear' and 'Burned With Desire' at the time, started the A State of Trance compilation album series, not knowing the great influence it was going to have on the trance scene. Named after his A State of Trance radioshow, Armin presented the ASOT 2004 compilation with an important message. To not be a prisoner of your own style. Armin:"There are a lot of different definitions of the genre, but to me trance is just warm electronic dance music, anything from progressive to techno. Don't be a prisoner of your own style, is what I always say; don't get caught up in the bullshit of your own creativity!" If one thing's for sure, it's that ASOT 2004 is everything but bullshit. Years later, most of the tracks have grown out to trance classics and the compilation is still mentioned as one of the most favoured compilations in the past 10 years. It was 2003 when Armin van Buuren ended up as a number 3 in DJ Mag's Top 100, when he started his own record label Armada Music, with Maykel Piron and David Lewis, and when the first few Awards started rolling in. Never did he expect his career to grow out to what it is today, without realizing it he was working hard to get to the top. Download this release at: clk.tradedoubler.com When Leon heard Energy 52's Cafe Del Mar he fell in love with melodic trance, and quit producing hardcore house. In 2002 and 2003 Leon got his first record deals, together with his brother Bart. They released some tracks on Bonzai/Banshee and FTM sublabels. Back then the first contacts with Armada frontman Maykel Piron were established via Armin van Buuren, and this resulted in Leon remixing the first ever Armada release. On this 66th A State Of Trance Release Leon Bolier, under his guise Surpresa, produced two tracks, Bonaire and Poseidon. Enjoy! Download this release at: clk.tradedoubler.com For some artists, a song title is a mere formality. For MIKE, it's the beginning of a story, and indicative of an event or life experience that compels you to listen and find out more. MIKE's own story started aged 10, after a Depeche Mode synth electro performance wowed him into wanting to produce music; he went on to release his first track at 18 and never looked back. Mike's aka Dirk Dierickx started to DJ at the age of 16. He used the name DJ Mike, which is why, after he also produced under this name, he decided to change his real name from Dirk to Mike in 2001. This is the 67th release on A State Of Trance, produced by Mike under his Absolute guise, 'Now & Ever'.
